Inn Mesec

Family inn Mesec is located on the western side of Vrhnika at the altitude of 620 m at hamlet Jerinov grič within beautiful natural environment, clean air and nice viewing points over  Vrhnika, Ljubljana, Logatec and the complete Polhov Gradec Hills and the Kamnik Alps.

An inn with tradition

The inn is one with tradition that started by Franc and Ivanka Mesec. In 1938, they built the house and, as they kept their enthusiasm for catering, they started serving wine and traditional quisine and we continue this tradition nowadays. Our quisine is famous for chicken, pork legs, all sorts of roast meat, game, piglet. In winter we also prepare our own farm's meat from the slaughter. As we possess a farm, we grow most of our food by ourselves, including vegetables.

Our cook Majda prepares exquisite traditional desserts, such as layer pasty »gibanica«, various strudels, nut cakes »potica«,  rolled dumplings »štruklji« and several other cakes. We also accept groups of up to 80 people having an excursion, celebration and anniversary, and prepare lunch or dinner for them, at the same time offering various sorts of open high-quality wine produced by  renowned wine producers. According to your wishes, we organize live music as well.

Accomodation

We offer single rooms and rooms with more beds with a bathroom and LCD TV.

Care is taken of children, too. They can use different pieces of equipment on a safe and arranged playground. Parents can watch their children while sitting on a bench in the nearby shadow.
